Darrell attended high school in Rochester, Minnesota. In high school he was an All-American in Football, Basketball, and Track. He was heavily recruited and decided to stay in his home state and play for the University of Minnesota. Darrell started four years at the University of Minnesota and was named Co-Captain his senior year. When he left the University of Minnesota, he held the record for all-time leader rushing. During his time at the University of Minnesota he was named Fiesta Bowl All-American, Playboy All-American and All-Big Ten. In 1990 as a senior and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the first round. Darrell played five years for the Packers and retired due to injuries late in his career.
Where Are They Now
For the last 30 years Darrell has been involved with youth work. He started as a volunteer, moved to part time, and helped to grow Bolder Options to what it is today. He has seen thousands of young women and men impacted by the organization. The mission statement of Bolder Option is ‘teaching youth to succeed in all of life's races. Why CBD
Like many former professional athletes especially football players Darrell had multiple concussions, 95 percent of them undiagnosed. He also had trauma to his body and felt pain in his hip, knees, shoulders and back. He also was not able to sleep well and was quick tempered and these side effects impacted his daily life.

The ability to concentrate and finish tasks improved, and his body felt much better.
